Office Manager

We’re looking for a thoughtful, driven, and organized person to join Neighborhood Goods as our Office Manager. The role will involve a broad variety of tasks including working with People Operations Manager to coordinate and execute team activities, keeping the office organized and stocked, and aiding with scheduling and other such tasks for the senior leadership team.

The successful candidate will join a fast-growing startup environment at our headquarters in Dallas, Texas. They will work in a cross-departmental way with all manner and have the opportunity to participate in a broad and diverse array of tasks and projects.

Ideal applicants should be well-written and articulate, self-starting and motivated, and, above all else, organized. Additionally, candidates for this role will care to support staff wherever is needed and has a team-first mentality.

Office Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementing systems and services to allow for better internal efficiency when scheduling conference rooms, stocking the office with adequate drinks and snacks, and so on.
  • Aiding the People Department with coordination of events and activities for the team, in addition to celebrations for birthdays and work anniversaries.
  • Aiding with scheduling, meeting requests, and travel booking for the CEO and senior leadership.
  • General coordination between Chase Tower and Neighborhood Goods staff.

Office Manager Requirements Include:

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience with modern day-to-day enterprise tools (e.g., Slack).
  • Discretion when handling — and being exposed to — sensitive company information internally.
  • Some experience as an office manager or executive assistant would be preferable.
