About the Visual Merchandising Specialist

The Visual Merchandising Specialist will join us at our second location at Chelsea Market in New York City. The Visual Merchandising Specialist is primarily focused on delivering the visual impact of the store. What You’ll Do

  • Own the visual impact of the store by following, interpreting and executing Visual directives while remaining consistent with weekly, monthly and seasonal brand & store direction
  • Maintain visual standards, including merchandise presentation, signage, fixtures and general maintenance
  • Able to move brands and fixtures around store independently
  • Guides product placement and outfitting that is reflective of trend, reinforces brand messaging, and inspires the customer
  • Partners with the Visual Director and Store General Management to ensure appropriate support and effective scheduling for visual priorities and preparations for brand entries and exits
  • Maintain clear & timely communications with home office Visual team and Store Management
  • Responsible for the care and maintenance of display materials and that visual area is kept clean and organized
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
  • Ability to climb ladders, lift medium to large items, up to 50 lbs, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
  • Ability to to work with hand and power operated tools and lift in order to execute display setups
